About Us

Public-i was established in 2001 in order to develop webcasting solutions specifically for the Local Government sector. We believe that this focus on Local Government is one of our greatest strengths and we have worked alongside pioneers for this technology to demonstrate how it can help engage citizens and modernize Local democracy. Our approach and methodology has proven to be a great success, so much so that we were independently selected to roll out our services in a major EU webcasting pilot which is still underway.

ISO 9001: 2000 Accreditation

We were ISO accredited once again in January 2006. We operate a quality management system (QMS), certificated to ISO9001: 2000 by UKAS-accredited TUV, to ensure our clients' expectations are understood and fully satisfied through a prompt and professional service.

The system is a set of processes which Public-i now undertakes to ensure all our procedures achieve an agreed standard of product and service quality. It also ensures there is an adopted process for their continual improvement. Evidence of these processes is required to ensure their ongoing compliance and it is this evidence that forms the basis of the annual audit. Quality management reviews take place to monitor improvements and training within the organisation.

The attainment of ISO 9001 allows our customers to have greater confidence on the quality of the services and products that Public-i provides.
