Andrew is a digital communications specialist with 10 years’ experience working in various media-related roles and is a professionally trained multi-media journalist and blogger. At Public-i he is responsible for helping clients develop better relationships with their online communities, advising on and developing digital communications plans. He has worked as a journalist in various roles – he was a reporter and sub editor at the Ham&High, a local newspaper in London, and was the chief sub-editor for Time Out in the Arabian Gulf. More recently Andrew became one of the first students to be awarded an MA in online journalism at Birmingham City University. During that time he worked for social media consultancy, Podnosh, where he organised Social Media Surgeries. He continues to take part in the surgeries, which help voluntary and community groups with social media.
