  Lancashire County Council started webcasting their Cabinet meetings in August 2002. They had a F600 installed in Committee Room 1. Such was the success of webcasting a few years later they installed a F600, fixed system in the Council Chamber. All committee rooms now have fixed cameras and they use an R600 portable system to webcast all of their meetings.

  Leicester City Council started webcasting in March 2008, they have a D600, mobile system and currently webcast Full Council meetings and have webcast messages from the Lord Mayor.

Lincolnshire County Council
Lincolnshire are in their second  year of webcasting meetings such as Full Council, County Council Conference Speechs, School Debates, and various Training sessions, using an F600, their audio system is integrated with the webcasting system to allow automated camera control. They also use the equipment for internal use, the Chief Executive and Senior Management Team run internal webcasts so only employees can view them to communicate in a more effective way.

  Working through Liberata, the LGA currently produces a varied selection of webcast content including policy review groups, leader briefings, a variety of conferences and events including Local Democracy Week and the LGA Annual Conference. They also webcast evening seminars and internal staff briefings. All webcasting is done using a Public-i portable R600 system with fixed cameras in a meeting room and in the main conference room. The service has been run by the Information Services Department since March 2003.

  One of Public-i’s very first and most prolific clients, LBC Camden have been webcasting since February 2002 under the auspices of the Committee Services team. The authority use the fixed F600 installation in their Council Chamber to capture Full Council, Executive, Licensing and Development Control meetings together with a wide range of one off events.

London Borough of Haringey

  The London Borough of Haringey began webcasting with a D500 system in 2005, and their content ranges from the webcasting of meetings such as Full Council, Overview and Scrutiny Committee and Planning. They have also made short films, webcast junior debates and made Councillor interviews. Integration with the Public-i Content Management System and their own Committee Management System Modern.gov occurred early in 2009, and they recently upgraded their hardware to a F600 fixed system.

  LB Havering are another new client for Public-i and have an F600 fixed system installed in the chamber, which is intregrated with their audio solution. Currently in the soft launch phase, they will begin live webcasting Summer 2010.

London Borough of Hounslow
  The London Borough of Hounslow was the first local authority in the UK to provide a webcasting service.  Since April 2001 the Authority has webcast a range of content including Borough Council, Executive, Overview and Scrutiny Committee’s, and various Children and Young People Scrutiny Panel meetings. Hounslow has a fixed installation in its Council Chamber with cameras remotely controlled by the delegate microphone system together with a portable R600 webcasting system. The service is run by the Democratic Services department. Hounslow is using the Modern.Gov Committee Management Sytem which has been fully integrated with the Public-i Content Management System.
