In May 2009, Newcastle City Council implemented a multimedia discussion board to support its Udecide Participatory Budgeting programme. The site is designed for members of the public to discuss PB projects in their ward and allows citizens to upload user generated content in the form of video captured on a mobile phone or video camera.
