North East Derbyshire District Council
You’ve heard of ‘My Space’ - North East Derbyshire have used this concept to launch ‘YOUR space’, an interactive social networking portal for local communities that encourages citizens to share experiences and celebrate what’s great about North East Derbyshire. The Video Magazine was launched in November 2007 and has proved to be very successful. Ongoing evaluation is taking place, but initial feedback is very positive, on average over 1,000 people view YOURspace per month. National interest in the site is building and it was showcased to all Council's at a conference in July 2008.
