Firefox WM ActiveX:

To use index jump points for Windows Media webcasts you need ActiveX. This is installed by default on Windows systems and can be used by Internet Explorer. To use the index jump points in Firefox on Windows you need to install the Firefox ActiveX plugin and select the option here. Start webcast automatically:

The webcast player should automatically start the webcast for you when it opens. Should you wish for the webcast player to not automatically start the webcast you can instruct it not to here. This will result in having to click the play button to start the webcast.
Please note that this only works for archived meetings. Live meetings will start when the webcast actually starts (though can be stopped once the webcast player is loaded). Please ensure that you open the webcast player a little while before the webcast is due to start to allow time to review the additional information.

Display browser controls in the Webcast Player:

The standard functioning of the webcast player will result in it opening in a window without the browser (i.e. Internet Explorer) menu bar, address bar and icons. Should you wish for it to open in a window with all these features still displayed then please select here.
